A peak is not a return. Each figure is the best price traded within 24 hours after the announcement was detected — the lowest price for delistings and Monitoring Tags — compared with the last trade before it. Nobody reliably buys the low and sells that top, and the price 24 hours later is, by construction, at or below the peak. Nothing on this page is a promise of gains or investment advice.

One row per exchange and announcement type with at least 10 measured announcements (212 announcements in 9 groups). Positive figures are peaks after listings; negative figures are lows after delistings and Binance Monitoring Tag notices.

* Small sample (fewer than 20 announcements): read the median as an indication only. Groups with fewer than 10 announcements are not shown; Upbit and Bithumb caution releases and Binance HODLer Airdrops are listed case by case on the caution released and Binance HODLer Airdrop pages.

Middle half: half of the announcements fall between these two values (25th and 75th percentiles). Moved ≥ 10%: share of announcements whose peak, or low, reached at least 10% in the direction of the row. Median time to peak: time between the detection of the announcement and the peak, or low. Typical example: the announcement closest to the median, with its own chart page.

How to read these numbers

Listing announcements are followed by the largest moves. The median Upbit spot listing peaked at +33.1%, and half of them peaked between +18.3% and +66.1%; the median Bithumb listing peaked at +24.7%.

The typical move is not the best case. A median peak means that half of the listings did less than that at their best moment. Extremes exist — BABY on Upbit peaked above +10,000% within 24 hours of its June 2026 listing — which is why this page uses medians and quartiles and never averages: a single outlier would be enough to distort an average.

Delistings and Monitoring Tags work the other way: the figure is the lowest price within 24 hours. Binance spot delisting notices saw a median low of −27.7% and Binance Monitoring Tag notices −15.8%. See the Binance delisting alert and crypto delisting alerts pages.

Methodology

  • Sample. Announcements detected by the CryptoListing.ws feed on Upbit, Bithumb and Binance since April 2026, for tokens that were already trading somewhere before the announcement. A token with no existing market cannot be measured, so the sample leans toward tokens that were already traded.
  • Reference price. The last trade before the announcement was detected.
  • Peak. The best price traded within 24 hours after detection — the highest for listings, the lowest for delistings and Monitoring Tags — on the market where the token was most liquid before the announcement, often a perpetual contract on another exchange rather than the announcing exchange's new market. It is an extreme, not a return.
  • Completed windows only. An announcement enters the statistics once its 24-hour window has closed.
  • Statistics. Medians and quartiles with linear interpolation, never averages. A group is published from 10 announcements and flagged as a small sample below 20.
  • Updates. The figures are recomputed from the latest price data at every update of the site. A closed window no longer changes, but new announcements can move the medians.
