Privacy policy

Data collected

We collect and store the following data strictly for operational purposes:

  • API keys — assigned to each subscriber for authentication
  • IP addresses — logged when connecting to the WebSocket service

For website analytics, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), which sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) on your browser to measure traffic and usage. We additionally use GoatCounter as a cookie-free, privacy-friendly secondary analytics tool that records anonymous page view statistics. GA4 collects:

  • Page views and navigation events on this site
  • Device and browser information (user agent, screen size, language)
  • Approximate geographic location derived from IP, used only for aggregated geo reporting; IP is anonymized after collection where supported by Google

GA4 data is processed by Google LLC under their terms and privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can opt out of GA4 tracking by enabling Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, by using a content blocker such as uBlock Origin, or by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-Out browser add-on. No other personal data is collected on this website beyond what is described above and the IP address logged when connecting to the WebSocket service (mentioned earlier).

Purpose

The data listed above is used exclusively to operate and secure the WebSocket service (authentication, rate limiting, abuse prevention). It is not shared with third parties and is not used for marketing purposes.

Retention

Operational data (API keys, IP logs) is retained for the duration of your active subscription, plus a 12-month security and audit window after termination of the subscription, after which it is deleted. Analytics data (GA4, GoatCounter) is retained per the respective providers' default retention (GA4: up to 14 months; GoatCounter: rolling 6 months for raw data).

  • Errors in announcement parsing or ticker extraction
  • Network failures between our servers and your systems
  • Any trading decisions made based on data received through the service

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid for the service in the 30 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Terms of service

Eligibility

By using CryptoListing.ws, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you are legally permitted to use the service in your jurisdiction.

API key usage

Each API key is issued for one subscriber only. You may not share, resell, or redistribute your API key or any data received through the service without prior written authorization. Sharing your API key with third parties will result in immediate revocation.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, probe, or interfere with the service infrastructure
  • Resell, redistribute, or publicly rebroadcast the data feed
  • Use the service for any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Open multiple concurrent WebSocket connections beyond your plan's allowance

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access to the service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. This includes but is not limited to violations of these terms, abuse of the service, or non-payment.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
